• Basic technical guidelines regarding camera capabilities (working with manual mode, exposure triangles, histogram and more…)

• Essential tips and tricks when preparing and shooting (timing, composition, lighting)

• Shooting in choice locations in the surrounding area of the Cairngorms

-     Your own photography equipment should be used

-      Weather and lighting: depending on the time of year we will adapt timing of the day to take advantage of best lighting and weather conditions, be prepared to be flexible. Appropriate clothing & footwear should be worn.

-      Fitness and mobility will be considered when selecting locations to visit.

-      Photography experience and goals for the workshop (focus will be tailored to client, determined through questionnaire and discussion)

-      You are responsible for your own transport, although car sharing is also an option. Food/meals also are not provided.

-      Niven Photography (Graham Niven) reserves the right to re-schedule within reason if weather conditions are considered dangerous.

-      Cancellation policy – a refund of 50% is permitted if workshop is cancelled up to 1 month prior to agreed date. Within 1 month – no refund is permitted, however, every effort will be made to reschedule to suitable dates or fill booking.

For 1 individual:

• Half Day - £150

• Full Day - £275

+1 person for £50 per half day / £80 per full day

+2 persons for £100 per half day / £160 per full day

* A professional A3 print of one of your photographs from the day can be created for £25
